If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re sorry to hear that. Customized and personalized products are non-refundable. If you are displeased with the result, I will gladly accept the piece back and recreate it in order to give you the product you ordered, up to two times with a limitation of one month after receiving the finished product. However, if you hired us to make something uniquely for you, we can’t take it back because who would want a customized version of you if you don’t?
Our returns policy is thus:
•If we have not started your piece, we will give you a full refund.
•If we have started your piece, we will refund you 80% of the purchase price and the full shipping price.
•If we are nearly done with the piece, we will work with you to correct the problem, but no refunds will be made.
•If you have received the piece and are not happy with it, you can return it and we will work with you to make it great, up to two times and only within the first month of having it in your hands, but no refunds will be made.
We are artists. You therefore understand that you are hiring an artist to create something artistic for you, and while you are the client, we will be using artistic abililty to create the piece. You may not agree with our artistic ability. We will find this unfortunate, but if we have created the piece we will refer you to this bit of writing to let you know that there will be no refund since we have done the work. We WILL work with you to try and make the piece to your liking, but we have a strict no take-backsies policy.
Buying a custom piece, using it for the purpose you bought it, then trying to return it to me after the fact is pretty low. I understand that the products that are created cost a lot of money, but calling your credit card company months after you’ve had the piece to say it wasn’t what you expected so that you can get all your money back AND keep the product reserves you a seat in one of Dante’s circles. If you do this you may get your money and the product that I worked very hard to create, but I will let the world know that that is the kind of person you are.
Accidents happen but stupidity has a cost. If the piece is shipped inappropriately to me, and ends up in worse shape than I was originally made aware of, there will be additional costs for the time and materials spent in excess of the original repair inquiry.
We love the internet. LOVE IT. We also love our social media. So much so we have a podcast and all the photo/friend/family/business accounts to go along with it. Please do NOT threaten us with slander on the internet if we will not bow to your every want and desire or if you want a refund. We have spelled it out as best we can how the refund policy works, told you to read it, and have been paid under the auspice that you understand the arrangement. Threatening us with slander will result in a petty, but overwhelming internet cat fight between us, and we are all bigger than that, aren’t we? So let’s keep it civil.
The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made. We are happy to repair broken pieces and such, but getting it to us is on you. Now, we will cover getting it back to you, so we look at that as a wash.
